Equal Housing Opportunity
Mariya Stoyanova, P.A. and United Realty Group Inc are committed to the letter and spirit of fair housing law. We provide real estate services without discrimination and support an open market in which everyone has an equal opportunity to buy, sell and rent housing.
Protected Classes
The federal Fair Housing Act and the Florida Fair Housing Act prohibit discrimination in housing because of:
- Race
- Color
- Religion
- Sex
- National origin
- Disability
- Familial status (households with children under 18, and people who are pregnant)
Local ordinances in Miami-Dade County, Broward County and some cities protect additional characteristics, such as age, marital status, sexual orientation and gender identity. As REALTOR® members, we also follow the National Association of REALTORS® Code of Ethics, which prohibits discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, disability, familial status, national origin, sexual orientation or gender identity.
What This Means in Practice
- We do not steer buyers or renters toward or away from any neighborhood or building based on a protected characteristic.
- We describe properties, not people, in our marketing.
- We do not answer questions about the makeup of a neighborhood based on protected characteristics. For information about schools, crime or demographics, we refer clients to independent public sources.
- We present all offers objectively and in good faith.
- We make reasonable accommodations for clients with disabilities.
