Brokerage Relationships in Florida

Florida law presumes that real estate licensees work with buyers and sellers as transaction brokers unless a different relationship, such as single agent or no brokerage relationship, is established in writing. The applicable brokerage relationship disclosures are provided to you in the course of a transaction, as Florida law requires.

Using this website or contacting Mariya does not by itself create a brokerage relationship. That happens through Florida law and the written agreements you sign, such as a listing agreement or a buyer brokerage agreement.

Compensation

Real estate commissions and fees are not set by law. They are negotiable and are agreed in writing. Buyers are asked to sign a written buyer agreement before touring homes, which states the services provided and how the buyer's agent is paid.
